Summary of Rules

The following is a summary of a few key rules for Angola’s Got Talent, but are not the full rules in entirety. See the full set of rules and policies here.

  • All contestants must live or work in Steuben County, Indiana.

  • Limit 25 youth and 25 adult entries, meaning on the first 25 entries will be accepted and additional entries may be rejected.

  • To audition, provide an audition video around 3-4 minutes long and complete an entry form through this site. All performances must be under 5 minutes, but preferably closer to 3-4 minutes. The shorter the better as you can leave the audience (and judges) wanting more!

  • Entry fee: $25 for adults and $10 for youth 18 and under (scholarships available for youth contestants - email directo@cahootscoffee.org for more information).

  • Finalists will be notified in advance.

  • All performances must be family friendly.

  • Fire, sharp objects, and other dangerous items are not permitted in the performance.

  • Cahoots is not responsible for injury or damage incurred in the creation of audition videos or during a performance.

  • Judges decisions are final.

Proceeds from the event help support the mission of Cahoots Coffee Cafe: to provide a safe space for youth to thrive.

Cahoots Coffee Café is an independent non-profit located at 218 W Maumee St., downtown Angola, providing a safe and non-threatening environment for enrichment and socialization of youth. Youth and adults use our space to mentor, learn, teach, hang out, participate in an open mic or game night, play pool and Foosball, and meet with friends. Cahoots' space is a safe environment for all.
